SYN project: Young people and the Internet 2

This was the second in the series of packages that I made for the SYN and Telstra sponsored series on young people and the internet. These packages were based on the themes of social networking and internet crime, with an emphasis on how these issues related to young people.

Package 1: Internet Crime

I spoke to Ebay and representatives from two US-based groups concerned with young people and online safety about how young internet users can better protect themselves from Internet Crime

Package 3: Myspace and the young artist

Gabriel Lynch is a young, up and coming artist, I spoke to him about the role that myspace had had in establishing his career and nuturing his fanbase. In this package I also spoke to the CEO of Air, Stuart Watters about how myspace had impacted the operation and relevance on the independent music sector.
